Beautiful Hand Crafted and Hand Painted Talavera Folk Art Pottery 9 3/8 Diameter x 3 Tall Decorative Serving Bowl.
The bowl features a vibrantly colorful scene with a figure wearing a large white sombrero, appearing to be taking a siesta (nap) on the ground.
The background is a striking gradient of bright red and yellow, with several black birds in flight.
There are prominent green cacti of various sizes and a small house with a blue roof are also depicted. The outside of the bowl features 3 large chili pepper graphics.
It is an exquisite example of traditional southern Mexican pottery style.
