Originating in late 18th-century France, the Bouillotte Lamp was named after a popular card game and was designed to provide adjustable light on a gaming table.
This handsome example features a classic black marble base with white veining and polished brass accents. The included 3-way socket allows you to enjoy the versatility of soft ambience in the evening and bright task light for when you need to buckle down to get your work done.
The lamp and shade are both in very good vintage condition. Please see the pictures for details.
The lamp measures approximately 7"L x 5.25"W x 13"H without the shade/finial and is 12"L x 8.5"W x 20.5"H with the shade and finial included. The golden fabric shade is 9" high and tapers from 7" W at the top to 12"W at the bottom.
