Vintage Bubble Cut Barbie or Midge Doll - Japan Marked Foot - 11" - As Is
This vintage doll measures approximately 11 inches and features the classic Bubble Cut hairstyle. The bottom of one foot is marked Japan, indicating it is an early production, most likely from the early 1960s.
Markings:
On body: Barbie(r) Pats. Pend. (c)MCMLVIII by Mattel, Inc. (1961-1962)
Or possibly: Midge T.M. / (c)1962 Barbie(r) / (c)1958 by Mattel, Inc. (1963)
Please note: I am not a doll expert. Some collectors have suggested she is a Bubble Cut Barbie, while others believe she could be a Japan edition Midge doll. Because of this, I'm selling her as is - please review the pictures carefully and judge for yourself.
